“What a perfect place - a restful tonic for the body and soul. We enjoyed reading and relaxing on the deck, watching the ever changing scenery and the company of your resident chipmunks and red squirrels. It’s hard to leave.” - Bob & Mary Ellen

" A quiet week on Lee's Pond. As a former property owner on neighboring Winnipesaukee, my expectations were high heading into this rental. we were not disappointed. A wonderful, secluded, quiet and scenic location. No frills, just basic. Everything we wanted in a Lake/Wood getaway. " - Sept 2015

"Rustic Retreat. Our vacation at Lee's Pond was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Relaxing on the deck overlooking the pond, one experiences an endless display of beauty and serenity with the light constantly changing, loons calling out from across the way, and herons diving for fish. With no motor boats allowed, the serenity is uninterrupted. As described, the cabin has basic necessities and worked well for just the two of us. while tucked awayon a back road, one is only ten minutes from good restaurants, grocery stores and farmer's market. We enjoyed several meals right at the cottage with our "catch of the day." The owners provide excellent communication about both the cottage and the area and make sure the cottage is clean with fresh towels and linens provided. we very much look forward to returning. " - August 2014

"A dream come true! Lee's Pond Cottage was like a dream come true! quiet, secluded, and on so so peaceful, with the bass literally jumping out of the water! the cottage is cozy, comfortable and quaint! Close proximity to Center Harbor and Meredith. Loved the sound of the mysterious loon at night. will definitely be back next year! Thanks for a great vacation!" - Michael R. Aug 2014

"A Great Vacation week. Our week's stay at Lee's Pond was everything we had hoped for. Simple, complete and comfortable accommodations in a wonderful setting, we enjoyed it all. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, an open fire in the evening, reading, relaxing, we lost trck of the days that ended too soon. recommended if you'd like a sense of seclusion and quiet in a natural environment. All the Lakes Region has to offer is yours when you choose to venture out, but you may find you prefer to stay and enjoy this unique property. Thanks again to our hosts." - Stephen K. June 2014

"I enjoyed our stay immensely. The view of the lake was breathtaking and the cottage had a comfortable and natural aura to it. I especially enjoyed our canoe ride and watching the late night meteor showers from the dock." - Ashley

“What a perfect place - a restful tonic for the body and soul. We enjoyed reading and relaxing on the deck, watching the ever changing scenery and the company of your resident chipmunks and red squirrels. It’s hard to leave.” - Bob & Mary Ellen

“ We had a grand time roasting weenies on the open fire and eating dinner while looking out onto a gorgeous sunset. The sounds of the frogs in the evenings brought me as far away as I can be from the city and I was truly grateful for this lovely little cabin.” - Kathrin

“I can hardly believe the week is over. We had such a time! Hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming and camp fires - what a vacation! We caught several small mouth bass and pickerel in Lees Pond; we especially enjoy the fishing here and look forward to our return to this very peaceful place.” - Gail & Steven

“Another serene week at Lee's Pond as quickly passed. We enjoyed the ever-changing scenery, cool weather, thunder and lightning over the mountains, and the company of turtles, loons, and herons. We loved listening to the night sounds of frogs and insects; a visiting loon came right up near the end of our dock several times. We love “our hideaway” and hope to be back next summer.” - John & Debbie

“I removed my watch and enjoyed endless hours with great books and an unbeatable view. This has been such a refreshing, peaceful week in a little bit of heaven.” - Jane

“I have discovered a very valuable truth about fishing. The Zen art of fishing is not about the goal, it is about the process. I felt filled with positive energy even after 35 unsuccessful casts! Wish I could stay here for weeks ...” - Nicholas

“We enjoyed another peaceful week at Lee’s Pond cottage - no TV, no incoming phone calls, snippets of radio news and Red Sox games only. It was very hot and humid for a couple of days - the fans were a godsend; but New England weather never fails to refresh; July 5 dawned clear and cool.” - Bob & Mary Ellen (Owners note: the cottage is equipped with a tv/dvd player and does have a telephone; you decide who gets the number!)

“Another wonderful stay ... more special memories! Meeting a chipmunk nose to nose, collecting snails, discovering that stars really do twinkle, being with those I love most. a special time at a cozy, comfy and safe place. Thank you.” - Christine & Samantha

“This is our first visit; it was short but great. We loved to feed "Chippy" the chipmunk who is brave and will eat right out of your hand. My Dad caught a 7lb northern pike. The view is breathtaking and the fishing is great. We had a few campfires at night, toasted marshmallows and did fireworks. My Dad and I don’t want to leave because we love nature and fishing ..." - Sara

“Local wildlife sightings: blue-heron, humming birds, tree swallows, large black ants, dragon and damsel flies, loons, ducks, scarlet tanager, song sparrows, red-wing blackbirds, snapping turtles, painted turtle, red squirrels, and of course the ever present delightful chipmunks which we love to feed sunflower seeds on the deck. A neighbor spotted a black bear @ 10:00 a.m. one day about 1/4 mile up the road - we’re still looking!” - Donna

"We've had a wonderful week, our second year visiting. The weather cooperated - so we swam, canoed, hiked, rode, and read endlessly. We canoed to the Loon Center - what a treat. This is such a special spot! P.S. while we are not veteran birders, we swear that the very large very beautiful bird perched across the lake, swooping to catch fish, was an osprey." - Linda & Paul
